What kind of analyst is he if he has to do that?
He apogized to Carmelo the other day for not calling him first on air...it's on YouTube. He likes having relationship & being a celebrity much more than any other analyst. But that's why he's valuable for breaking news & getting exclusive info.
Show is actually watchable now. Skip's act wore thin a long time ago and Jalen's ether was the nail in the coffin. Instead of being a hyperbole/histrionics contest it's actually a fun contrast now. It's not all about Skip's picks and belief perseverance/mental gymnastics/pure fiction and ego anymore.
Old first take was like Kwame Brown vs Eddy Curry.
Both evenly matched trash players.
New first take is like Chris Bosh vs Tyler Zeller.
Yeah, one guy is clearly better than the other, but in the end, it's such an ugly matchup that nobody gives a shyt.

Nah it's the difference between radio and first take.
On radio he had freedom to go on long tangents and him and Marcellus going back and forth was great
On first take he has to rush in a point before sas talks over him
I hope max return to radio. It's where he's best

Yeah everything about the show was pretty much about skips opinions and him bragging if he was right and making excuses if he was wrong
At the end it was hard to tell where skip was trolling or just being hard headed because he truly did take his opinions and predictions
seriously to an obsessive level where he could never admit he ewe wrong about a prediction or player.
I definitely know him being a Spurs and patriots fan was contrived bullshyt to try to add more fake arguments to the show

FOH the shyt is watchable now that Skip isn't there to say the same fukkin shyt every time. It was literally all about the Cowboys or his hatred for Bron. He needs to learn to switch up his trolling game. There is now somewhat of substance on the show with Max.

Stephen A Smith is just trash, you can tell by his Facebook live streams and radio show that's not him he playing a character that only worked with Skip Bayless now he's gone the whole premise of the show is gone. Max already getting mad with Stephen A doing what he want being home instead of the studio half the time and being late to the show. The same stuff Skip was mad about and why he left. If it was Max and Marcellus on first take it would be way more entertaining
