I said "Save for a few classics"

-DMP-
But its not save for a few classics. Every other gen/system was rilling out classics within 1 year and moving full speed ahead in year 2.

This gen hasnt and nothing on the horizin looks impressive. Just sequels, sequels and more sequels. Abd the games add nothing new. Its the same games with nicer graphics.

Gameplay innovation is the lowest its ever been. A direct result of how astronimcal game development costs now.

Studios used to be able to create ganes in 1 year with a modest budget. Now its 2-4 years to make a game.

One flop can close a studios doors. Which leads to less risks.

Games are stale right now.

Man i stopped reading when u said you never heard of Kingdom Hearts. What world are u living in?

:yeshrug:
I'm a primarily a sports gamer with occasional stuff like Battlefield, GTA thrown in.

My demographic has been left out in the cold in the long-term focus of the video-game industry. :manny:

My demographic doesn't play their system everyday or even every week, but buys one nonetheless in anticipation of knowing something we like will come out. Which is not the case these days.

I still havent bought a next-gen system and don't see a reason to b/c nothing on the horizon interests me.

I havent been to Gamestop in a while, but when I go in, I just see a bunch of ads for stuff that doesnt interest me. And then the gamestop worker asking me if I want to reserve or pre-order a bunch of I've never even heard of. I'm just like :what:

Stop posting go that way with that bullshyt you work for Microsoft breh good god

Truth is truth. It has nothing to so with Microsoft.

What are all new FPS's concentrating on? Traversal. Which FPS started that idea? Titanfall.

It's already influenced a generation of games.

Drivatars revolutionized A.I.In Racers and Horizon is the first true open world racer, as opposed to open road in games like burnout, NSF, ect.

I give facts, you claim I'm shilling, you repeat lies and misinformation and claim its gospel.

the fact that they killed BC in favor monetizing old shyt is a horrible start. beginning of last gen you could play your whole PS catalog now you have to subscribe to do that...or buy the game a second time. oh i mean the remastered version

NEver even heard of Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2 :manny:

This is the problem.

There's not enough games now that appeal to ALL segments of gamers. That's what made the 16-bit, 32-bit and PS2, X360 era so great.

It's like the game industry thought tey could survive off the RPG/FPS crowd, while forgetting about everyone else. And most of you who fall into that FPS/RPG crowd act like those games are the only ones that matter.

I said it on here a long time ago, sports games falling off would be a huge detriment to the gaming industry, and it is.
So much wrong with this post

1st off Kingdom hearts is one the most popular and revered Franchises in gaming history.

You lose all semblance of credibility with that statement

2nd how have sports game fallen off?

2k and madden are in the top 10 most played games year after year.

Sells in sports games also grow each year

So your the sole definition of a casual gamer complaining about quality games? #Thiscantbelife
