The problem with the Knicks and Carmelo is that they aren't playing to their identity.
Knicks basketball has always been focused on defense when they were good.
Trying to win around a superstar scorer who isn't good at anything else is the problem.
Carmelo just isn't a fit for NY.
Get rid of him, focus on hard-nosed defensive players and a team that can score, rather than rely on 1 man to get you 29 points a game.
They need to be more "Bad Boys Pistons" rather than "Showtime Lakers"
