Let’s be real, Beyonces albums are overrated and that’s why she doesn’t win AOTY

Beyoncé is talented, excellent performer and a hard worker but…..

Most of her albums range from solid to really good. The same can be said for all artist though imo

The only AOTY snub she truly had was Lemonade. The album alone isn’t all of that but I feel it was a really great cohesive piece of work.

The best thing about Beyoncé was the release.

This recent album is better than Beyoncé but it’s not what people make it out to be imo

Also she lacks hit songs. She hasn’t had any true hits this last decade. Maybe 3, and that’s not alot compared to the amount of music she released.

I don’t think you can appeal to many people outside of your fan base with an album full of album cuts no matter how good they are.

If she gets back to making hits, I think she can win AOTY!

if lemonade weren't about being cheated on, no one would care about that album evidenced by how like zero songs from it have been canonized into [black] music playlists. to this day, a cookout, party or station that mixes in throwbacks plays songs from DIL, Bday, I am/SF, 4 and Beyonce...nothing from lemonade gets spins

None of what you posted has anything to do with why she didn't win Grammy AOTY and everything to do with your grievances with Beyonce. Albums that never had hits and weren't commercially successful have won the award i.e. the year Beck won.
