Alot of these anime/cartoons whichever terminology you choose to use --- are deeper than some realize. Even the conflict within DBz with Vegeta & Goku is representative of something. With The movie Wargreymon represents masculine energy and left brain aspect in regards to thinking. Metalgarurumon represents feminine energy , right brain aspect. The fusion between the 2 represents dualities or balance rather. War's sword 1 , Metal cannon 0 --- goes into the Omega symbol. ..Alphamon is Atum.
