Me being a young and persuasive chap with a cool 1st grade teacher, I convinced her to read these to our class during story time. That ended quickly when other kid's parents start calling and complaining that their kids were coming home looking like :merchant:

I liked Goosebumps but it was p*ssy compared to TFTC and other horror shows. The Goosebumps stories never really scared me when I read them but I still enjoyed them. I was a horror geek in my childhood. Anything to do with it, I was there.

The 80's and 90's were the golden age of TV horror shows.

Tales From The Crypt
Tales From The Darkside
Monsters
The Twilight Zone
Are You Afraid of the Dark?

There is probably more that I can't remember right now.

I feel bad for young horror fans today. They don't have the piff we had.

I got all the Tales From The Crypt seasons on DVD except for season 7, the last one.

True the covers were creepy. but Fear Street over Goosebumps. :manny: The Fear Street books left more to the imagination. (my opinion of course) This was the start of me getting into reading books in middle school & how i became to like that fukking Accelerated Reader program ( :scusthov: forced reading program) also when i began to picture white book characters as black people. :pachaha:
