None of that is his own fault. He debuted beating Cena clean then turned into just another chickenshyt heel after Cena got his wins back.
When they finally pulled the trigger on him, it was way the fukk too late, just like with Ambrose and Becky.

All due respect you have no grounds to claim this. Look how over he is with the crowds and he hasn't even gotten a babyface run yet.
He could easily be the next Daniel Bryan, huge underdog type babyface. Only he's actually a killer on the mic in addition to being great in the ring.
Let me rephrase it.....as his character currently is, he'll never be champ again.
Now maybe if he becomes a complete face and does a few things differently, then yeah.
Bryan didn't have to be a smart ass on the mic...he was the best in thering.wrestling twice a night and the real sentiment with fans that he was held down so they keep Blandy and Cena in the spotlight. Owens won't ever have that kind of connection with the crowd but he's gonna be over enough.
Nakamura and AJ Styles are the two guys the fans could get insanely behind if they get wronged.
Nia Jax is being protected from everything and don't it get twisted..Bayley is gonna matter in 2017, no matter what. She's a dollar sign for kids. And Asuka is going to Raw OR Smackdown and WILL BE a huge difference maker to who fans Support and presented as a WINNER.

The problem is, and this is gonna sound stupid, the main event guys wrestle too much. The mystique is gone from the talent because you see them wrestling each other in the same matches week after week and it's the same shyt at the ppv. The main event guys should be cutting entertaining promos/vignettes, antagonizing each other, and squashing jobbers on regular tv. Then you have them go balls to the wall at the ppv.
Kevin Owens should be beating the shyt out of nobodies for no reason, then cut a promo of him in like a shopping mall giving the local tough guy the beats cause he dissed his shorts or something, on tv he keeps snaking his way out of matches against whoever the top contender is. You don't see him in a legit match until the ppv. Make it so people feel like they are getting something when they see him in an actual match.
Jericho gets massacred by Rollins and Reigns every week....Big E damn sure isn't treated like a main eventer..he's comedy relief. Rusev is feuding with Enzo over Lana? Lol.
