He would have never blown on his own he just seemed too run of the mill back then. And if even now when he tries to be different people still dont check for him smh. Hes not a bad rapper just nothing special about him. Theres a reason people want a andre album so bad in the midst of big boi dropping 3 during that timeframe.

Big Boi was the one who got Andre respect back in the Aquemini days. Andre started all this fakkit outfit wearing sh*t when Outkast got white fans and they didn't need to appeal to A-town nikkaz any more. And I finna neg your stupid azz for calling Big Boi a run of the mill rapper when he's killed sh*t like Poppin' Tags and "I'm So Hood" remix showing his talent level in comparison to other rappers.

Andre is more versatile and top 5 ever.
Big Boi can still go with the best though. He would smash anybody else from the south including T.I.. even Luda flow for flow.

Also Big Boi has released some great solo's, and done all the right things, toured globally, been on late night tv...problem is he's not young enough to be hip with the kids anymore. The record company prob doesnt know what to do with him, and he probably doesnt want to go over commercial and sell his soul. (and doesn't need to)

Don't believe for a second that Andre will sell bucket loads when he solo comes out unless there is a huge commercial song on there either.
