Why would Cee Lo lie about something like that? Outkast been his homies since they was little kids

He prolly was In the studio wit them when they made them albums... They all recorded In the same place... The Dungeon

Cee Lo and Big Boi always been cool wit eachother and still work together to this day so I don't see a reason for Him to lie about Andre writing for Big Boi

I think the whole Andre writing for Big Boi may have been taken a little bit out of context. For example, Andre wrote the hook for Elevators, but it sounded so much better with Big Boi being the prominent/lead vocal on the hook. Same thing with the Atliens hook (throw your hands in the air), Big Boi is the lead vocal, and Andre's vocal is in the background as a mutated effect.

If you look back to Southernplayalistic... the album thats more Big Boi's vibe, you'll notice that most of the hooks are done by Sleepy or Cee-Lo or various members of Organized like Joi or Debra Killings

I thought it was common knowledge that Andre wrote for Big Boi on the first two albums. Unless you think Cee lo would lie for no reason. Heard Cee Lo was originally supposed to be in Outkast but I forgot if Big Boi or Andre was the other member.

Big Boi was asked about it and he denied it. Listen to their rhymes, they don't sound alike at all. H20 explained it much better in the post above.

Ceelo stepped in to help Dre at talent shows cause Big Boi's auntie threatened to send back to Savannah if he fukked up in school.

He would have never blown on his own he just seemed too run of the mill back then. And if even now when he tries to be different people still dont check for him smh. Hes not a bad rapper just nothing special about him. Theres a reason people want a andre album so bad in the midst of big boi dropping 3 during that timeframe.
I guess you never heard "Sir Lucious Left Foot".

I heard im saying its good but like I said he doesnt have that it factor that sets him over. alot of these underground rappers have good albums but the thing that sets you over just having a good album is what makes a difference.

I always thought the appeal of early outkast had a lot to do with Big Bois hooks, duke is talented as fukk.

:wtf:

None of the singles off their debut had Big Boi on the hook though.

I don't see how Andre outshined Big Boi on the first album, I'm looking at thing objectively as a New York nikka the first time I heard this shyt really at first I couldn't tell these nikkas apart because of their flows :mindblown: but as I heard it again and again I was able to differentiate. Big Boi stood out to me a little more.

"Well it's the MI-crooked letter coming around the South, hammers and vogues rolling deep with that old Southern slouch" :ohlawd:

SPCM in my top 10 personal favorite albums :blessed:

Big boi was aite after he left. His sir luscious left foot album had a few on it.

But Dre n Big Boi fed well off one another. One rapped like he may/may not had a encounter with aliens and the other rapped like he may not have...

I love both though. GOAT Hip-Hop duo

Infamous > any album by outkast.
