N64 was crippled with cartridges

They cripple every console in some form or another

This is exactly what I was gonna say..Nintendo tries to hard sometimes to do the opposite of what everyone else is doin..and it hurts them in ways...starting with N64 with the cartridge shyt while everyone was going cd...now im in no way saying these systems are bad..im saying they serve best as secondary systems...N64 had CLASSIC first party games..but if it wasnt for those..that system wouldve bricked big time...the games were more expensive than PSX..the games came out less often..and the multiplats were almost exclusively worse on the N64 while costing more money...then they dropped Gamecube wit that minidisc shyt AFTER they already saw the success Sony and to a lesser extent Xbox was having with dvds in the system....Games came out sparingly and not often at all..and I really liked Gamecube as well..but like I said..secondary system...and the last time they was a better primary pick was with the SNES...is what it is..

Man please. Their audience is dwindling. A whole generation of gamers does not care about nintendo. How long will their core audience continue to support them? They cant rely on their handhelds because mobile games are overtaking those. Nintendo will not be releasing consoles in TEN years
