Valuable lesson that I learned is that you dress for your next job. I started off wearing my J's & Levis, got a promotion & started wearing dress shirts & ties with slacks, now I'm a department manager trying to make the transition to store manager so I wear a suit/sport coat at LEAST once a week.

Bottom line is I can't cosign this thread at all, I'm trying to be GQ fresh at all times

Whether it's work or not, generally, I'd prefer to be in button up and jeans, dress shoes, whether they are loafers, drivers, whatever. I wear sneakers/tshirts maybe two days out of the week, projects a better image, I'm more comfortable dressed up, then dressed down, these days.

In israel even at high up jobs... No one cares how you dress. People working at prestigious offices stroll in there with flip flops. That is very cool to me. As a society we should throw formal wear in the bushes.... It's all about playing dress up for each other.... So lame and shallow
