Eeh, arguing about rates is pointless but rating makes sense if you just want someone else to get how attractive someone is to you.

My personal rating system (and I think a coli breh inspired it) is this:

5=indifferent
above 5=looking at her face brings me some level of enjoyment
below 5=looking at her face brings me some level of disgust

The closer to the extremes, the more intense the attraction/repulsion

So a 6 is actually a good rating for me. I'd marry a 6. As long as I can wake up next to her and not feel pissed off

I will take it a step further. I don't believe in rating a person's attractiveness solely on looks. One's personality, level of maturity, temperament, emotional intelligence, etc. has to play a factor into the equation.

A woman can look good, but if her attitude is messed up then her level of attractiveness decreases to start. Other factors could also further decrease her level of attractiveness.
