Lonzo gonna end up snappin on Lavar and choking him out one night for all the pressure he puts on him. He looks exactly like one of the Menendez bros too

Not from what i have seen but im sure you have watched more than me. The times i seen him wind that jump shot up its looked like an easily contested shot. Lakers dont have enough talent to compete either way so i dont know why people are surprised they struggling.

While this is true, let's not act like the hype machine wasn't already crowning him before he even stepped on a NBA court. You can't be mad at folks who're putting him under the microscope. He'd be treated just like every other rookie if he didn't have all that noise behind him.
This, his dad being a d#ck head is going to end up being more of a curse than a gift in the long run. Every game he plays is going be to under a microscope, which most rookies don't have to deal with unless they're a truly generational talent.

Even if Lonzo turns into a solid NBA starter, which I think he will, if he doesn't become an All NBA type player he'll be looked at like a bust. It's not fair for him that he had that type of pressure put on him when he's not that type of player and his ceiling should have never been that high coming into the league. If you just look at him objectively and remove all the hype he hasn't been that awful for a rookie with his skill set and ability level in his first few NBA games. I just hope the people around STFU and let him develop his game without anymore unnecessary attention and antics.

That's also why I think getting rid of D'Angelo was such a stupid decision, he needs another ball handler to play off of, which is probably what they want from Ingram long term but this year D'Angelo would have helped Lonzo out a lot.

Yahtzee!

I would've kept him for at least this season (I understand why they made that move though) because their games actually complement each other more than people realize. I cringed when LA moved him, that back court would've been sweet. It's actually a set back.

Well the Lakers helped add to the pressure by trading Deangelo away. They went all in on Lonzo.

yes, but although he gets it off, the mechanics are fukked up. its too slow and predictable which allows it to be contested easier. so while it may not get blocked, its very easy to bother it which will make his percentage worse. he has to change that shot to one that wont be contested so easily.
