2. He's shooting 31 percent from the floor.
3. The offense with him at the helm is 29th in the league. Only team that's worse is the Bulls.

Not from what i have seen but im sure you have watched more than me. The times i seen him wind that jump shot up its looked like an easily contested shot. Lakers dont have enough talent to compete either way so i dont know why people are surprised they struggling.

Its not so much that anyone's actually surprised, but when you have the hype man saying Lakers will immediately make the playoffs and Lonzo is already one of the best players in the NBA on day one....well, people are gonna respond accordingly when that hype is proven to be false.

Well the Lakers helped add to the pressure by trading Deangelo away. They went all in on Lonzo.

Let's not forget Magic hopping on the BBB train and declaring Lonzo a Hall of Famer before he played his first game.

I think he'll be a really good and exciting player eventually, but i also kinda feel like the era of the PG who dominates the ball simply to create for others, like a kidd or chris paul is coming to an end.

Even with everything looking like its moving to faster pace stuff, its more swinging the ball and team passing than one guy directing a fast break like magic or kidd.

Well that much is obvious. I dont allow trolls and self promoters like Lavar to sway my opinion though. At first I did and was in my feelings with all the crazy stuff he was saying but then I realized I cant take him seriously or tie what he says directly to Lonzo imo.

The problem with struggle stat sheet stuffer is that his defenders can always point to the assists and rebounds which look good for his age regardless of context (ie the team is actually worse when he's on the floor compiling those numbers)

Passing alone isn't sufficient. To be a top/winning point guard in today's NBA, you need to be a scorer and aggressive and lonzo is neither of this.

Nah. Simmons does look really good, doe. A lot of nikkas took the Lavar stuff to heart. It'd take a Giannis-esque performance in a game thus far for some to merely put their grudge aside and judge him by the standards a rookie should be judged.
