Look at Ingram. Lakers may not have the staff to develop players. DLO gets traded and is showing all star level play. Also Lonzo seems to be only comfortable in a spread offense at the moment. He's really uncomfortable in the pick and roll. That's going to have to change.

Bet money those youngsters would be key pieces on any strong team.

Why are vets who had decent years all of a sudden lose what they had when they play with this team the next year?

Why are our players losing the ball and exposing it so often? I keep repeatedly seeing defenders able to get their hands on the ball. Is nobody helping them/running drills regarding protecting it? I'm really tired of seeing the players getting blamed for everything.

One of the obvious things to do with Ball right now is get him a post game so he can back down the league full of 6'3 and under pg's and make assists with his back to the basket.

I don't remember Kidd's rookie season, but damn it's hard to believe he was as bad as Lonzo looks out there. Hopefully Lonzo's wack ass can develop into half the player Kidd was

It's still entirely to early but at the same time if Lonzo is a bust or mediocre player we can't say we didn't see this coming. He's got a suspect jumper and decent but not great passing skills so it's not like he is a cant miss prospect with that one elite skill that most stars have. But with his above average athleticism his height and the fact that I think he will work hard to improve his game I think at worst he will be a starter for the next decade plus but probably never the superstar scorer like most prospects are.

Outside of the Suns game where literally no one played defense the entire game, his scoring numbers are:

3 points on 1-6 shooting
8 points on 3-13 shooting
6 points on 2-11 shooting
5 points on 2-7 shooting

His passing is strong but not special (good vision for his age but I'm not calling him a prodigy yet) and the rebounding is a ridiculous narrative because he's doing virtually nothing to get them.

Breh you know I don't care about stats. I'm watching the games and just a simple eye test is telling me Donovan can be as good as or better in everything besides passing/playmaking.
