Yall can tell real nikkas/street nikkas on this forum. Any nikka thats real easily relates to 2pac. Music is about moving people touching ones soul. How can you listen to If I die tonight, so many tears, death around corner, it ain't easy, dear mama, and 2pac not be one of your favorite rappers ? And that's all on one album.
nikkas try make music out to be about lyrics and everything. Don't get me wrong lyrics matter but if your music don't move me I don't care how lyrical you are. Rakim was a great lyricist but his music does not move me.
There is only couple biggie songs I really feel. "Everyday struggle" is my favorite biggie song. But you can tell most of biggie deep songs sound forced.
And it's good to have that money cash cars and hoes songs too because you have to be a well rounded artist cause a nikka isn't always down but if that's what all your music is about I can't relate. I couldn't tell you last time I listened to a jay-z song because that's what majority of his songs about, always bragging about what he has. Real alpha males don't do that cause seems like money cars hoes and clothes make you who you are. That's a sign of insecurity.
One thing I come notice how much a lot of nikkas love dmx music.
And when I listen to music I try find authenticity majority of time. If I'm listening to a rapper talking about pimping ima listen to one who was a pimp because he lived it making it easier rap about and relate to instead of lil Wayne simp ass pimp songs lol. But I fukks with all music just only certain ones is my favorite.
