what era are we currently in?

There is no more era, Hip Hop is dead.:troll:

remember when all them old grumpy white men shyt on the hip hop generation of the NBA in the early 2000's... and cried about how horrible the NBA had become, cause cats like AI and Jason Williams didn't embody any of the shyt they valued, praised and grew up on back in the day?

that's the point where we are now in hip hop.

How do they suck? Everyone doesn't listen to music the same?

I think rap music sounds better now then it did in the golden era.

Now l know to disregard any opinion you.have on hip hop/rap

Thanks mayne for letting me know

the best coast
the past 5 years have been really fukking dope to me

yall who got terrible taste see the music scene as boring and repetitive.

its funny when i first started on the message boards i thought this was a place where we'd be discussing new unheard rappers and talking about the stuff we like. as i soon found out its just a place to talk about the same tired old rappers and they mediocre ass music and talk shyt about them when in reality we have no idea of whats going on.

i cant even think of a thread in recent history to try and put light on a new rapper or group someone found. you want good music, u gotta do some hw :yeshrug:

For what it's worth, there have been a lot of great projects that have dropped ...but nobody will ever admit to it, cause the 90's were SO much better... like it's a BAD thing that i can wake up in the morning, take a shyt.. and have downloaded 3 new mixtapes before i even leave my house and have brand new music to listen to all day long...... on any given day this year.

Nobody on the boards outside of like a handful of Atlanta posters even knew who Trinidad James was, til that thread i made.

but yeah, all the people complaining about how this era is supposedly pure trash... probably don't even go looking for music they like... it's like they feel if they hate everything hard enough 1995 will come back.
