I'm kinda with @Billy Costigan in that I feel that shyt is dangerous for an already fractured Black community and could potential bring more division that isn't needed. If Black women are able to reconcile their racial unity with the needs and grievances of their gender/sex then that's cool cuz its lots of women's issues that should be addressed and us Black men should be as active as possible to protect, understand, and hold our women down when they need us to.
Why do you think a movement begins in rhe first place? You don't get anywhere by not rocking the boat...why did rhe civil rights movement happened?

most black women are feminist, even if you dont identify yourself as one.

just as yourself this question, do you think black women make better leaders than black men. if you answer yes, there's a good chance you're a feminist.
If I say I'm not a feminist then take that. :heh: And being a feminist is more than your example. I consider a feminist as someone actively trying to make a change or at least talking about the disadvantages that a woman has all the time.

Unfortunately black men don't hece why black feminism exist. Their grievances would be drowned out as complaints and their own fault.

why did the KKK movement begin? (a group directly aligned with OG feminism) all movements aren't beneficial.

almost all of our problems are directly related to poverty and white supremacy, but women try to shoe horn gender in like shyt would be sweet if they were black men instead of women.

I'm not saying a movement is unnecessary or there was no reason for it. I just would hate for this type of thing to be turned into another dividing factor between Black people. Aside from that, I actually think Black men should be involved and learn the situation more so we can understand it and provide our support rather than be the cause of the problem or the reason Black Feminism takes hold. As a man, I can't fake like I all the way understand feminism so I'd prefer to just observe and listen so I understand the other side and come to my own conclusions on it. Granted, a lot of men don't think this way.

They don't articulate or do you not consider what they have to say to be valid?

Black women have 2 points 1. They are victims of violence and need protection 2. Black women's contributions to the diaspora historically needs more emphasis

Everything else is garbage
