When does their security stop being our problem?
i was against leaving a usa presence in iraq but i think that has to be a option at this point. whenever the usa leaves a outside will invade iraq no matter what. whether its isis or whomever

it will always be our problem since we caused that instability

We have to agree to disagree. It's like an adult blaming his condition on his failed parents. You have take responsibility at some point.

isis, al queda are all funded by the military industrial complex. they are cia operations to keep the middle east unstable. there's too much money to be made off them with them being unstable. just like other 3rd world countries with resources.
why deal with stable african and arab countries and have to pay full price for their resources when you can just bomb them and get their shyt for nothing from rebels. exchange weapons for what they have.

Toppling Sadam was one of the STUPIDEST moves US has made in a while. But it seems americans and the government haven't learned thier lesson as they toppled Ghaddafi and are still actively trying to topple Assad. Just to create more instability in the middle east.

Correct me if I'm wrong but what about countries like Japan. Arent we in theory still responsible for their defense? I could be wrong so if I am let me know.

It a no win situation. I'm starting to feel like the other poster. I have always wanted us out of Iraq asap but now im starting to think otherwise. I almost feel if we overthrow a dictator or destabilize a nation for wutever reason we got to be ready to hold them down for however long it takes until they can defend and govern themselves adequately.

Thats why we have to make sure when or if we do that thing we a truly ready and capable of shouldering that burden. Obviously the 2nd iraq war was a fuk up from the start.

Aint no right answer to this brehs:to:

With Iraq you might be lookin' at at least a century. I mean, look what happened to India when Britain left. The Paki Muslims and the Hindus got into it for the better part of a decade, it was so f*cked up the Hindus killed their own leader! You can't just arbitrarily group people together, dismantle their leadership, and then bounce :heh: :dead: If you want real peace in Iraq, you're going to have to make a Kurdistan, a Sunnistan, and a Shiastan, all headed by family clans, and get them all equal weapons and/or heavily policed by UN soldiers, that's the only way.
