The Lakers are a better team without Kobe. If he was out the entire season the lakers would be a 2 or 3 seed in the West.
6th seed...
And spurs can't turn it up..their already playing at peek....but...good coaching can always prevail

Nobody but hardcore spurs fans really think there doing anything

There just a good reg season team but in a series they can't keep up with a young fast team I could see almost any team in the west beating them in a series

the spurs have been killed by injuries. The only core player thats still healthy is TD and he can't do it alone. TP is clearly not even close to 100%, gino's still out, and diaw is out for a month. You do know the spurs have won 4 titles right? They're not the denver nuggets

I'm a die hard spurs fan, and I don't think we have it either:yeshrug:
But I still think we could make it to the Western Conference Finals. Right now, it seems like we peaked and on our way down. Hope TP can turn up some more come playoff time.

I think Duncan realizes now he has to take over

Look for like 27 and 12

That shyt last night looked like the Spurs circa 01. Duncan beasting, the Lakers C beasting, nobody else on the Spurs doing shyt. Only thing missing was Kobe dropping 40 and 10.

I've had this feeling since the Heat game a few weeks ago. Something is "off" with this team and yea injuries has been an issue, but even that, something just isn't right. We're missing that "flare" that Manu brings. We're bland out there

Duncan is going to have to turn the clock and average over 20 and 10 in the postseason. He's still very capable. Ginobli and Parker being hobbled is the problem and they won't be 100%.

And while Leonard, Splitter, Green, etc are playing well, can you trust them throughout the entire postseason?

Parker is a shell of himself and Ginobili is out. Plus S-Jax gone and Diaw out 3-4 weeks. Bad shape. Parker made the offense go. We got as he goes.

If Parker's not healthy enough to do his one-man-fastbreak thing and penetrate in the half-court, they're in for a brief postseason.

That's where I started to think we fell out of rhythm completely (although we should have pulled that one off, if it were not for that BS Norris Cole foul they put on Kawhi at the end of the 4th). Last night just confirmed it to me. We need to just hope for a somewhat healthy and in-rhythm TP come playoffs. I'm not even gonna get my hopes up for Manu, he's been sitting to long.
