He's not a bum, he just can't succeed as a committee back and he really doesn't work in the Eagles offense. It's really meant for a finesse back. Also the Falcons defense was turned up and stopping the run at key junctures, as well as hitting Sam Bradford.

I agree with the first part, but I don't think Chip wants a finesse back, he wants a back that will hit the holes instead of dancing around in the backfield always trying to break off a big play.

Still, he's going to have to get more than 9 touches in a game and the offensive line either needs to step up or Chip really fukked that up.

I understand Kelly runs modified spread concepts but that line and offensive philosophy (super high tempo) will not work with DeMarco Murray and Eagles. I expect Chip to make adjustments and it's only week one but he is going to have to change what he does, because Murray is arguably the best offensive player on that team and sometimes talent trumps the system. Chip needs to realize that unless he wants to face 0-2.
