LMA is a really good PNR defender too in his own right too. Also, the reason why LMA ain't scoring more points in the paint is due to having a new coach from the Mav's and he has LMA playing more like Nowitski and is shooting more outside shots.Of course Bosh is gonna play less minutes with a loaded Heat squad, he doesn't have to play much minutes and not carrying the load being the 2nd or 3rd option. And
LMA is a much better post player.
He didn't score more points in the paint last year than Bosh did with the Raptors, hell Bosh scores more buckets inside the paint now than LA does. You're making LA out to be some great post player, when the fact of the matter is he's just decent. He scores in much the same way Bosh did with the Raptors, except he's not as good at pressuring a defense, hence the low amount of freethrows. He's the quintessential "let the defender off the hook" type of player, how do you take 19 shots a game and only go to the line 5 times?
Andof course Bosh is gonna be more efficient, he doesn't have to carry a team and Lebron is always gonna hook him up and make everything for him and the team easier on him.
Come on, Bosh was more efficient with the Raptors than Aldridge is now, Bosh has several seasons where he was better as a number 1 option than LA's best year.
Whereas LMA is the "guy" with no bench and has to play heavy minutes, so he has to work for his shots a lot more than Bosh and sees more double teams and teams game planning more against him. While Bosh doesn't see much double teams and playing in a nice system. You really don't think that LMA wouldn't be as efficient or better if he wasn't playing for the Heat with Bron causing all the attention he gets?
You're glazing over the fact Bosh scored 24ppg with the Raptors on 16 shots a game. Would Aldridge be more efficient, sure, but the problem here is that Bosh was more efficient than Aldridge when he didn't have LeBron. Bosh last year with the Raptors was 24ppg on 52% shooting, where was Bron to help him do that? He got to the line almost 9 times a game that year and less of his shots were assisted than Aldridges are now. You're talking about Bosh as though we've never seen him as a number 1, he was better than Aldridge and he's better than him today. We also saw Bosh last year against the Hawks without Bron or Wade, 33/14/5/2/2 and could not be stopped.
Let's not even get into rebounding either, Aldridge has never even come close to sniffing a double double for a season, Bosh did it 3 times. Everyone calls Bosh soft, and the Heat need better rebounders, imagine if they had LA's allergic to rebounding ass instead of Bosh
