Rakim techically dropped when he was 16. It's amazing how mentally mature this kid was, he carried himself like a grown man, the 5% konwledge, math and science he dropped at that age is unheard of. This dude was a master of fitting a lot of rhymes into a song, he forced you to listen and not dance, "My Melody" and "Lyrics of Fury", to me, were the 2 songs of Rakim that stood out because those are the most smoothest and hardest songs he has ever done IMO. Let's not even go down the line of his greatest songs that never really got any airplay.
