The stans have once against rewritten history and decided that the Lakers missed the playoffs in 2004-2005 because Kobe was injured. As I just corrected 2dumbasahoe, this is flatly untrue.
Kobe played 66 games that year. The lakers went 28-38 in those games.
The lakers were the sixth seed when Kobe was injured in January of 2005. He missed one month. The lakers went about 6-8. Technically they went 7-8 because he only played 6 minutes the game he was injured.
After Kobe came back, the lakers went 9-24, including going about 3-18 at the end of their schedule.
