IMO african/Caribbean women just adhere to gender rolls :beli:. That’s literally the only difference.

I have no idea what this thread is about though:francis:.

If she was knowingly getting beat, why didn’t anyone put hands on her kids father?

Women in general need a class on choosing men.

They could save themselves and their offspring a lot of headache and heartache if they made better choices in men.

You got this guy over here whose been trying to take you on a date forever, but you and your friends think he's lame, but you go give this other man some play who has several children by different women, an extensive criminal background, and is working a dead end job or no job at all. On the flip side maybe he has money but his interest in you is only lukewarm outside of getting in your pants.

Then when that man leaves you with bad credit, post pregnancy weight, a broken heart, diminished looks, and wasted time you looking for man you use to call lame to come save you.

Caribbean’s are the worst when it comes to making bad decision in men. Here you see women pregnant at 16/17 with multiple baby daddy’s as they get older. Africans are least likely to do this because of the negative impact it has on their communities. There is a huge stigma in the African household for a woman to have kids out of wedlock. This is an AA and Caribbean problem, if we’re being real.

women being in power/equal opportunity has been only roughly 45 years, a lot of african and carribean get their morals and ubringing and peer pressure etc from their household and social circle in the community basically if everyone else is fcking having kids with randoms then they are at least not chastised.

nikla tesla said about women in the 1930s 'they have become immoral, promiscous and like men' imagine that before their liberty and equal opportunity which turned into domination because of the beta bytch. i am a disciple of manny pacquaio and finally those who dont have babys and no man turn to their degrees and doctrines as the reason why.

This bullshyt propaganda is out of control. African American women are not the only ones. How is this not a problem in the Caribbean and in Africa when prostitution is so common.

Yeah some of the grimiest advice I've ever gotten about men came from foreign gang chicks that a lot of these dudes put on a pedastal.:francis:
Specifically Latino and Asian chicks. I won't even mention white women b/c that should be obvious. Them chicks be on their 8th divorce by the time they are 25.

As a blk chick you just gotta realize that some blk dudes have been brainwashed into viewing their own as inferior and vice versa. Gotta learn to navigate around these types and bless up with the ones who aren't looking for any excuse to hate the female counterpart that matches what they see when they look in the mirror.
:manny:
It's like that in many cultures my dear.

My Costa-Rican ex girlfriend doesnt date Costa-Ricans, period. Don't even ask her for her name, let alone her phone number. I have a haitian mechanic i used to know in Miami named Hervé (french version of Harvey). He'll date bahamians, jamaican, and even married a black american woman. He would NOT date at a Haitian woman if you put a gun to his head. Funny thing is he fits that stereotype that black american women have about island men: Has a baby mama on damn near every island:heh: Dude got 2 baby mamas in the Bahamas, 1 in Turks & Caicos, one in Saint Marteen and one in Puerto Rico.
I always tell homie " you're the reason black american women think we island-hop and got baby mamas on every island" :laff:

Meanwhile while dating african american women i have never met one who doesnt date black american men at all. They may have gotten used to dating other blacks but still leave the door open to their own kinds. They'll compliment other blacks on certain things tht they feel American men lack but again, they'd still be down for their fellow american men.

Hell the american chick that im madly in love with went through a period where she dated me (haitian) , a Cameroonian dude, A Trinidadian dude, another younger Cameroonian breh, got engaged to a Ghanaian dude 4 years ago but eventually broke it off because he was moving back to Ghana and wanted her to move there with him. She eventually dated and married another black american breh 2 months ago (May 7th).
At least that's when she changed her last-name and posted the wedding pics on FB :mjcry: Should have been me ...:to:

Above the fray.
That's cool, what makes you say that?
I was literally raised in a 95%+ AA environment. Was raised by neighbors who were the last wave of Southerners who migrated North.EVERY single older African American person told me something growing up...that I later saw repeated and documented by academics.

The things you're talking about "breakdown of family, badmatchmaking, sexual protocol" is a RECENT thing. That if you take a snapshot of Black life from 60 years ago that the picture was completely different, despite economic and social conditions for Blacks being more oppressive.

I came of age as the breakdown was taking place and those old folks were amazed that people were turning their back on their traditional values.

I painfully write this as I just was informed that one of my cousins who is from St. Kitts is having planning a baby shower in August and wanted to use my patio deck and backyard to hold it at..

Keep in mind this is her 5th child with her third babydaddy...she just turned 30 years old
:snoop:

The last dude she had my aunt had to move her back in cause he beat the Oxtail juice outta here...

And he she go getting with a dude who allegedly has no job talking about he makes beats for a living ..smh...and two other kids with another woman

What his nationality is it doesn't matter ..

She made THAT. CHOICE

Just like her mama who dealt with a lot of fukked up dudes as well...

Pretty much alot of the women on my carribean side of the family made bad choices.

I know thier was this stigma that CARRIBEAN and AFRICAN women got a better morality about themselves than AA women

Dats a LIE

they just didn't have the options like AA women had for many decades being in America ..social programs which promote them to do without a man

And the opportunity to make good money without a man in thier lives...

Which is why most carribean and African women STAYED loyal cause they NEEDED THIER MEN

unlike AA women who felt men were expendable and replaceable

And now with changing social norms and the internet and influence of American culture....

That is the case with alot of carribean immigrants

Just an personal observation :manny:
we have the ability as men to make choices too.we as black have to learn to play our position when we bring life into the world. stop telling the black woman she made a bad choice when she gets with the black men.

It's stigmatized everywhere. It's just not as big a deal in advanced, more open minded, and not as blinded-by-religion societies like the U.S. and other developed countries.

Exactly. Out of wedlock stuff was always frowned upon in all Black communities Worldwide. The old folks in the USA definitely frowned upon that shyt and there were many "shotgun" marriages when women got pregnant. But times changed and people moved away from rural areas that forced those customs and once people moved into large cities with less community rigidity; that abnormality has now become the norm.

The same thing is now happening to Black immigrants. As they move away from their villages their social norms will also change.

Being a single mom is frowned upon in Haitian culture. This creates other problems such as s social shaming after rape etc. Cohabitation is also very frowned upon. You can't string a Haitian woman along for too long unless they are really Americanized . Haitian parents will start questioning you.

Marrying single moms is also frowned upon. "Pa pran manman pitit vin devan kay mwen"..lots of Haitian males grow up hearing that. "Mwen pa gen pitit kap place ak fanm". No kids before marriage.

My dad always told me if I want to whore around, it's with women that are marriage material.

My opinion on AA women when they are young, many value the most moronic shyt "swag" "tattoos" "a little hood in em" ..I grew up around these types and to no avail most are single moms.

If I get married my wife is highly likely going to be AA woman with my current track record and location. I also like Nigerian/Ghanian woman, mainly first generation.

Lol Haitian women I couldn't date one..too much traditional shyt I'd have to adhere to. I dont do church, dont care for gender roles and having people in my business. I prefer non church involve first generation Haitian woman.

Nobody really has made this argument. It’s always been non American women are easier to deal with with and don’t have unrealistic standards like American women

You speak from your vantage point. Those are the AA women you grew up around, but that in no way all AA women. I am African American and the African American women that I grew up around were in Churches and they went to college. Almost all of the AAs that I grew up around came from big extended families and we were raised to value our culture.

You all keep confusing the "fast dollar" crew with actual African Americans. That would be like me confusing Haitian drug boys and Haitian prostitutes with actual Haitians.
