Anyone who's ever taken an IQ test knows that it has very little (if anything) to do with most schools of intellect.

I subscribe to Gardner's theory of 7 forms of intelligence, and the IQ test barely covers one.

Btw, 7 forms of intelligence for those interested:

• Musical-rhythmic and harmonic.
• Visual-spatial.
• Verbal-linguistic.
• Logical-mathematical.
• Bodily-kinesthetic.
• Interpersonal.
• Intrapersonal.
• Naturalistic.

-There are some people who can hear something musically and be able to recreate it even with a different instrument.
-There are people who can recreate an entire visual scene in their minds
-There are polygots that exist who can speak 10 languages batter than some we can speak our native tongue
-There are athletes who can move and contort and shift their bodies in such a way we just watch in awe

These are all part of intelligence

And an IQ test aint covering any of this.

Why would anyone trust the results of a test created by our oppressor to gauge intelligence?

Was just about to post this. I tried interviewing for Procter and When they said they were gonna test me I thought I was gonna get tested in electromagnetic stuff. Sike mfers hit me with some mensa bullshyt looked at them like

Y'all not gonna disrespect me with this b.s. after 5 years of school and walked out

Exactly how I felt.

Like breh... I graduated a top 15 university with honors... and you want me to take an IQ test?
Bullshyt system, reduces the credibility of of anyone who requires it imo

One IQ test said I had a 116 IQ, another said 95, then the last one said 85

IQ tests is the manifestation of the eurocentric (well, in this case, american) will to rationalize everything in order to classify, and then rank and separate. How can one quantify human intelligence? That's like trying to quantify beauty, understanding, know-how, perception, adaptability etc. All things that the Enlightment rationalistic movement has tried to dismiss in order to focus on "hard" evidence of "intelligence". Since it's the dominant way of thinking it's become established, but it doesn't mean it's right.

If you really believe intelligence can be measured by a test, maybe your understanding of intelligence is wrong
