Anyone who's ever taken an IQ test knows that it has very little (if anything) to do with most schools of intellect.
I subscribe to Gardner's theory of 7 forms of intelligence, and the IQ test
barely covers one.
Btw, 7 forms of intelligence for those interested:
- Musical-rhythmic and harmonic.
- Visual-spatial.
- Verbal-linguistic.
- Logical-mathematical.
- Bodily-kinesthetic.
- Interpersonal.
- Intrapersonal.
- Naturalistic.
-There are some people who can hear something musically and be able to recreate it even with a different instrument.
-There are people who can recreate an entire visual scene in their minds
-There are polygots that exist who can speak 10 languages batter than some we can speak our native tongue
-There are athletes who can move and contort and shift their bodies in such a way we just watch in awe
These are all part of intelligence
And an IQ test aint covering any of this.
