The "groups" you're referring to are racist. They'll be racists whether they have an IQ test to point to or not. I bet they haven't even tested the Sub-Saharan blacks in any significant manner to make that claim.

We have revered cacs like Jared Taylor, hiring authorities, cac kids growing up being taught this, police, etc., who believe blacks on average are intellectually inferior.
It don't cost nothing to correct them.

we focus too much though on arbitrary things. If people were self aware and doubled down on what they were good at, they would be happier and more successful.

No, I've never take a test like that to get a job, and have never heard of anyone taking them.

It don't cost nothing but time and effort, but I'm saying I don't see the IQ test used as much as other standardized tests (SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, individual state exams, etc) which have their biases as well and, at least to me, seem to be far more impactful than an IQ test.
Im not gonna front I commented after reading like the first two lines- hahahaI had to take one for my software dev job out of college, and my first help desk job.
And when I worked for Kroger at 15
And for when I worked retail as a teen
I also know they do it for call center jobs (dated a girl who worked for one)
Not every job does this questionnaire, but some do.
If not for this, I wouldn't mind it that much because it has become a very outdated qualifier.
But if its legit stopping people from getting jobs because of pattern recognization.... that's a problem imo
