Do you think Hollywood purposely builds them up to knock em down?

They are on top of the world as kids for a couple of years and then they end up all fukked up. Some child stars do OK but most of em end up on drugs and fukked in the head. Just look at Bieber bugging out recently.

I think Hollywood and fame does that to people in general. One year you're on top of the world and everyone loves you, next everyone hates you or no one gives a fukk about you. But star kids seem to get it worse.

What do you guys think?

Yeah, some of em turn out OK. Like Justin Timberlake, he ain't done too bad. Or Neil Patrick Harris. But most child actors end up screwed.

I think I could say, mathematically, about 80% end up all messed up.

Its the parents fault and the values they instill their kids....look at Taylor Swift....but look at Lindsay Lohan/Mily, etc.....parenting is real bruh

Yeah, bad parenting doesn't help but handling fame is already hard as an adult. As a kid it goes to ur head, probably fukks you up worse.

It's all about the swag. Some have it and survive, some don't and drown.

Most of them are products of not having a childhood. They're basically thrust into having adult responsibilities while in the spotlight and then you toss in sex, money, drugs, partying, fame, etc. in the mix to someone who's never had a good foundation around them and it's no wonder they'll lose their minds in it all. Never mind Hollywood will spit you out when you grow up/hit puberty and slot in the next round handpicked child actors in their place. Then you hear about the Dan Schneider types along with the so-called Showbiz families which are really just pariahs using the kids for their own advantages. The parents get the most blame in these cases IMO.

Then it's like TV show actors in that they'll always be seen as whatever character they were most famous for and end up getting typecast in only that role, or not at all. Only a select few actually go on to have long careers. I think voice acting is a good avenue for former child actors. Kind of like Ellie in TLOU.

The real crime tho is every kid in a show or movie having that creepy ass bowl cut. I don't know who in Hollywood decides it's a good idea that they all got to have that haircut.
