How many years did Donovan end Romo's season before the playoffs even began?

McNabb is a commentator so its his job to give his opinion on things of this nature. But best believe he's probably salty cuz he thinks he should still be in the league. And i cant' blame him, because i defintely think there is still a place for him in the league.

:rudy:

McNabb is a slouch...There is no place for his bum ass in the league.

Apparently qbs are responsible for the defense and coaching. Or receivers dropping game winning passes in the end zone in the playoffs too.

Pretty sure wins are a team stat. This isn't baseball.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
And the cowboys talent has been VASTLY overrated in the romo era. Especially the last 2 years. If you listened to the media and some fans you would think this was some stacked team that just is soft or makes poor decisions. Nah them nikkaz aren't THAT good. That offensive line in particular is atrocious.

A shoddy offensive line and defensive line not to mention zero depth at a most positions.

Our entire 2009 draft is gone. Our 2 first round and second round picks from 2008 our gone as well. :snoop:

LOL, people love to bring up Garcia's 1 little run. Garcia wouldn't of had a run if Mcnabb didn't win those games early in the year. Also Garcia won 1 Playoff game and lost in the 2nd round. Mcnabb only was 1 and done 1 time in his entire career. Garcia was nothing more than a smokescreen to mask the hate people had for Donovan. Donovan lead the Eagles further year in and year out than Garcia 1 little season. Let's look at the facts. Since Mcnabb was drafted. The Eagles are 1-2 in the Playoffs without Donovan. They were 9-7 with him.

wtf are you babling about. this has nothing to do with Garcia vs McNabb. it has to do with McNabb being a egomanic and catchin feelings when the attention isn't on him. T.O has brought this up in the past but niccas ignored it because of T.O's history of being a "cancer." but McRib has always been known to hate and its clearly showing with his tears over Romo's deal.

They weren't going to get him for much less. Now go fix the damn oline. Oh and get some safeties.

Which I am sure will be so much easier now with Romo getting the money he is getting. Don't get me wrong I am not putting it all on him but if your gonna pay a QB like that you should have way more to show for it after 8 years. You can pay some scrub chump change to miss the playoffs.

It's one thing to shyt on McNabb and call him a egomaniac who catches feelings or a sambo or a hater or any other pejorative but to do so while riding for TO is truly :mindblown:. It's just like nikkas who talk about his accuracy (or lack therof) or playoff failures but ride for Vick. :dwillhuh:

Having receivers don't mean shyt if you don't have an offensive line. How many 1000 yard rushers has romo played with?

Man shut the fukk up, Romo be throwing gaming end INTS with no pressure in his face, he just makes dumb ass decisions and is a choker. If he was black he'd be Vince Young Status out the fukking league.

He cost the Cowboys a playoff birth against the a rookie QB with a one leg, and he had an easy defense to play against. Dallas should be Lob City with the INTs this nikka be throwing.

If rings define a QB then McNabb has the exact same number as Romo.. Zero. what what's really going on? Romo can still define his legacy. McNabb's is already written, McNabb was the Jim Kelly of conference title games and he got them to one super bowl but who had better defenses Romo or Mcnabb?:umad:

Man you listen to espn too much, sports media ruined sports. Ho,w you gonna talk Romo and super bowl when he ain't even been the conference championship yet. The whole Topic is Romo does not deserve that contract, PERIOD.

McNabb didn't say Romo should be out league, or he's the worst QB ever, he basically said he didn't deserve that contract which is true. This is a league based on performance, and Romo has not performed up to his pay. That's a fact. nikka got one playoff WIN HIS WHOLE CAREER,

Jim Kelly was a great QB no matter how many times he lost the SB, TEAMS WIN OR LOSE, but we're talking about player against players, its about their skills against the other skills not a teams accomplishment, because there's too many factors that go into winning a football game besides the QB.

Tony Romo can win a super bowl he still wouldn't better than McNabb has.
When you talking about players

The thing is that they had to do something. Again, they couldn't franchise him. They had no money at all to even sign their draft picks. Now this contract frees up to at least do that. I agree that they should not have given him 55 million. Maybe 45 or 48 million. I think Romo would have signed that. Not my money though. But there really isn't another option. Jerry is not in the mood to rebuild yet and I don't blame him; he's 70. I'm not a fan of any of these qb's in the draft this year and I doubt most fans would be excited about Orton as the starter.

The only other option to do was to let him play out his last year of the contract. But teams do not do this when it comes to players like Romo.

I could be mistaken, but the QB with the highest QB rating and most come from behind wins in the 4th quarters amongst active QB's is indeed Romo. Before the Washington game (which he choked, I admit), he actually played well in December. He played at his very best in December 2011. But people forget that this is a team game. He deserves some of the blame, not nearly all of it. Not when you can't protect the passer, can't run the ball, your defense can't stop the other team, your offensive coordinator can't adjust, and your general manager doesn't know the meaning of pass protection.

The nikka is 33 not 27 and they haven't made the playoffs in 3 years. Doesn't seem like Jerry is in that much of a rush. Who was gonna pay a 34 year old Romo $55 mil or anywhere close to it? You know why they had no money...bad financial decisions. I'm not sure how yet another bad financial choice fixes that. Yeah it may help in the short term but all you are doing is delaying the inevitable. ABSA my biggest issue with this is that a black QB with the same or even a better resume would've been shipped out.
