Lets discuss online racist comments

The point of my post was that there are a lot of people just trolling people out there. Nor can you determine that every person who posts racist shyt is white.

I didn't need to know your father's life story. I'm well aware of history.

You don't get it. I'm showing you how close I am to HISTORY. Some of this trolling are actual real feelings dude. Stop acting like this shyt is all in innocent fun. You can also say that the white kids protesting integration at HS and colleges in the 1960s were also trolls. Don't need the internet back then to be a troll. What they did was still racist...period.

I know some of it is legitimate racism, but I think a lot of it is trolling. I'm not acting like it's all in innocent fun. I think we can agree there is a HUGE difference between protesting integration and some 14 year old saying the n word on a youtube video comment. I'm not trying to argue in here I just came to give my opinion on the subject from someone who has been an uber online computer gaming nerd since I was 11 years old, and since then the internet has become a million times more trollish than ever before. My opinion could easily be wrong and it could just be me refusing to believe that there are that many racist folks out there.

I can respect your perspective on this. I would like to believe that the millions of trolls are not the racists they appear to be, but history tells me something else. Its an epidemic at this point and I do not see it slowing down...it has only gotten worst and its 2013...if it was 1963 the comments would be the same. Marinate on that for a second.

i can't speak for the gaming sites, but as far as the news sites, controversy sells..... news sites leave comments like that around and allow posters to make those kind of comments because that leads to site traffic.. .that leads to ad revenue... if everyone was posting intelligent and respectful opinions, the websites of half these news organizations would fold up and go out of business... don't get me wrong, racists are out there... the trolls are out there too.... and division is encouraged by the establishment, because the more time we spend fighting each other, the more time they have to build their power over all of us...

The comment sections on these sites are largely one sided...its filled with anti-black rhetoric. As a black person, it makes little sense to post opposing views in the comment section on those sites...it would be equivalent to trying to reason with racist whites on a st0rmfr0nt forum...its a lost cause.

I don't know how true this is, but from my experiences (I used to be an insanely hardcore online PC gamer, I was in a pro counter-strike league for a while) the people who make racist comments on videos or online are just little kids starving for attention. I'm not saying they aren't actually racist but I've seen it hundreds of times in my experiences being a nerdy ass PC gamer, these kids say stuff online to get a rise out of people and to try to appear like they're "cool" for being so controversial. Then you meet them in real life and they're just some pale pasty faced 15 year old nerd who wouldn't hurt a fly. Again, not saying this is always the case but it helps to keep that in mind sometimes that these are just immature individuals.

I went to high school with some of those kids and I still get emails from them. They don't stop being bigots when they get older.

I think it represents a fairly big part of the white population.
Pretty much every forum I go on that has mostly white members has a lot of racist ass comments. And I'm talking forums that are supposed to be dedicated to video games, fitness, even science type shyt, etc. This kind of shows me the average white person has racist thoughts.

Yeah race relations are pretty fukked up especially in this day and age. Sometimes I try to avoid the comment sections because I don't want it to color my perceptions of all white people. I know we make racist comments as well, but it seems to me there are way more racist comments against black people than there are against whites.

so last night i watched the GTA V video and decided i would pop in GTA IV. first room i enter, i have three white guys who are all talking and discussing how i am eating cereal.

so i asked them what kind did they think it was and the response was "N!GGER O's" to which the other two started laughing etc. and making other various racist remarks.

i didnt feed into it, i just asked to start the game so i could kill all of them. so we get into a lil verbal spar but im not insulting them im taking the high road.

at this point i realized they have a 4th member on the team who was silent the whole time. as soon as i said something about the team as a whole this cornball tries to defend his backward teammates. i left immediately after.

the surprise ending was homey was black.

the point i am trying to illustrate is if racism is everywhere and acceptable then what type of psychological damage does that do to our people?

Some black folks will do a lot to fit in and be accepted by whites. I do actually see more and more co-signing to the negative shyt white people have to say. I think the worst effect racism can have, psychologically, is the self hatred. May start to see a lot more c00ning.

When I was HS I remember a black kid, semi-popular dude that rolled with a lot of white country boys. They would always say some slick racial shyt to him and he would just laugh with them. I was on some Malcolm X shyt back then, I told him he needs to grow some balls and stop hanging out with these dudes and stop being a damn c00n. I used to smack up racists cacs in my school and neighborhood since the 3rd grade...real talk. White boys knew early that I wasn't on that bullshyt. I would be cool with a white dude and the minute he starts poppin on some racial stuff I was on him rippin. Funny thing is I run into some of these dudes know that we are grown and they show a lot of respect. A few even apologized for stuff they said way way back in the day. My mom ran into one of them at the gas station and he real nice to her asking about how our fam was doing. So, basically if you check these dudes early on, they still have time to change their mindset. Nobody respects a coward. I learned that from my pops.

Today, I prefer to debate a Cac about their shyt since I'm a grown man now and its more constructive IMO.

Nat Turner, Toussaint L'Overture, and all the brothas that were trying to free our people from oppression were HEROES. That was WAR cacs. Just like ya'll fakkits claim collateral damage everytime ya'll drop bombs that kill innocent men, women, and children, the white children killed by Toussaint and Nat were collateral damage. It was WAR. And best believe if I was around then I woulda killed as many cacs as I could. Our actions are different because we were the ones reacting to oppression. You can't equate the actions of the slave to the slave owner. We had a right to defend ourselves. Ya'll cacs didn't have the right to make us slaves in the first place.
