Eighties baby here. Was just listening to some Shalamar and remembered hearing their jams as a kid and loving the sound.

I remembered seeing them on Soul Train as a kid and dancing to their music and thought to myself that black people are crazy talented.

For the crowd that can remember watching Soul Train, y’all don’t remember seeing performers and being in awe and proud to be black?

No lie though, I remember getting older watching it during the New Jack Swing era and thought that a lot of those dancers must be on coke the way they would dance so damn fast.
