This narrative needs to stop now.

Poll taxes, Literacy test, dogs and water hoses are voter suppression.

A long line is annoying and in some cases unnecessary but it’s not suppression when you have weeks and months to early vote by mail or in person.

If you can’t outdo an 80 year old with a Rascal scooter by buying a stamp or googling your election office, these old people aren’t going to respect your voting power.

Young people put more energy into avoiding Netflix spoilers than just voting ain’t it.

Bernie got fukked by his own party, the media, and large corporations.

Whoever says it's because he had no 'black agenda' or 'his ideas were too ambitious' are disingenuous because first no other serious candidate had a 'black agenda', southern blacks voted for biden because he goes to church and was Obama's token white guy. Second, you vote for a candidate because you like their agenda. You give them a chance at the presidency and let them shoot their shot. If they miss badly you come back and say okay this wasn't smart or you could simply put pressure on your politicians to lean more left to get things that benefit us. If people had this mentality of not voting for candidates with ambitious ideas we'd probably still be in chains.
