I just want to see which sound folks like more. It's a hard question. I went with Stax. Even though motown had more hits and greater mainstream legacy, I like the hard edge of Stax more.

They were so rich with talent that some acts just had to leave because they weren’t getting opportunities at Motown.

Both the Isley Brothers and the Spinners had to bounce.
