Just my opinion with his word play etc..I don't consider PAC that lyrical but I do however prefer listening to Tupac nowadays. It's clearly a subjective topic. It's not like I went and said Lil B is more lyrical than PAC. Like i said earlier, it does no justice comparing the two.

I'm not taking anything away from big that nikka is worth everything they say about him, one of the dopest we will ever hear even ever.

This thread is for nikkas who always say that big was so much more lyrical than PAC and nikkas only like PAC cuz he was emotional type shyt, when infact he was better lyrically than big. At least to me. I be wanting to know why nikkas say it instead of them just saying as fact with no explanation

So, Chief Keef did not pioneer this Chicago Drill Rap...?

And please don't name an unknown drill rapper or some other drill rapper who haven't even released an album on a major label...

Chief Keef & DJ Kenn and Chief Keef and Young Chop showed these other drill rappers how it is suppose to be done..Period.

Don't try to undermine the little dude's impact on the game because you don't feel his music...

I don't feel Young Jeezy's music (except for "Boyz In The Hood" and "Straight Drop") but the dude had a SIGNIFICANT impact on the game...He birth all these Gucci Mane's, Rick Rosses, Yo Gotti, and etc which ultimate led to Drill Music in Chicago...

Name what Biggie birthed...? Which rappers are doing it like Biggie did it...?

Explain why

Pac's music was structured more like a song. If he wasn't rapping his voice could almost be like that of a singer with his emotion. That's not to say Pac couldn't spit or that he was some emo rapper like Drake. that's just saying his emotions were expressed in his songs way more than Biggie's. I also feel like when it came to straight wit, spitting and cleverness BIG wins hands down. He was just wittier, even funnier at how he got his point across.

if Big and Pac were your family members Pac would be that militant brother pseudo revolutionary type that sat down and gave you a lecture about the problems. he's great at giving you speeches and making you see the bigger picture....IN THE MOMENT.

Big is like that fun first cousin that you love when he comes to town. he's funny, has a good time, always has a great story to tell (ha) and also helps you understand what life can be about in action.

To me BIG just had better lines that were more exciting with better imagery. he may not have had the skill or desire to express himself or bare himself like Pac did but he always gave BIG in every lyrical performance. whether he was suicidal, warning some nikkas not to fukk with him, or fukking a bytch. it was always BIG. Pac was just here and there and everywhere with his shyt. one minute he's down for his nikkas, then he can't trust his nikkas, then it's peace to the babies, then it's fukk bytches. i'm not knocking Pac, but lyrically BIG was just more consistent with what he spit as well as what he personified. they both were great, but like another poster said anyway, they've been dead well over 10 years. it's not even a real debate anymore.

I honestly think I'd have a heart attack if I could hear these two actually battle in real life...Biggies Voice and 2pac voices will never be surpassed.

And it's sad to say that....but I can make that claim judging from what's been coming out lately

And what makes biggie more lyrical??? Name a big song more lyrical than blasphemy
Kick in the door, Ten Crack Commandments...

And this is coming from someone who just think's Biggie was a overrated suspect fat ass.

I think overall Pac was a better artist, and he was a good lyricist but Biggie had that extra.. something, can't explain it.

i refuse to conform
also another reason why biggie can't fukk with pac on the mic because he used this technique i found about it is called assonance it is basically rhyming just syllable sound only pac basically had more words in arsonal to rhyme with.

Big went crazy on them tracks I'm not gone flex both classics from the lyrics to two of the best beats ever and blasphemy is not as classic as them song but I wouldn't say they are more lyrical

In terms of skills, B.I.G. get a slight edge. In terms of content and impact, Pac is on another level.
