Jews cake here caked up already.

Not all of them came here with money. Lots of them migrated to the US after the Holocaust, where they lost most of their material possessions (not to mention their families). Many had to start their own businesses or go to school and become accountants, lawyers, doctors and then set up their own practices. A few even got into illegal enterprises.

Asians come here and can start businesses tax free.

Some of them can. Most of them don't.

Italians and Irish didn't have a system set up against them.

But they were subject to various kinds of discrimination when they first arrived in America, similar to the suffering of blacks. I agree in principle, however, that we, as black Americans, have a unique history of being discriminated against by dominant society.

We been here longer than all the groups you named. We can start building with that loan from the white owned bank tho right? Its idealistic. Your better off just moving to another country

We can start building by taking the money we have/can save and investing in ourselves or other blacks that are starting up businesses, etc.

We need to work on knowledge of african history first. The more you know they better your mindset, so we won't need to come to an agreement on a boycott cause each individual would naturally do it on their own...

Do you think Jews originally owned sh*t? What about the Asian immigrants who came here decades agao and now run multiple businesses in our community? How about the Irish and Italian immigrants? We all have to start somewhere.

Even though lots of us are unemployed, there are plenty of upwardly mobile black people as there are more black millionaires than ever before and there are more black-owned businesses. We as a community and the biggest consumers in this country have money. We just spend on foolish sh*t or spend to get drunk, high, nice, etc. People don't need 6 figures to start building something.

It's too easy to dismiss doing the right thing because it's "not realistic" and because "black people don't own shyt". That sounds like defeatist mentality to me. Keep away from me with that.

The #1 thing both of those groups( Jews & Asians ) have in common? They grow up in 2 parent households. Whats your opinion on fixing that? Its seems like most people keep missing this very important point, 2 many black kids are growing up in single parent homes or being raised by grandma, while the rest of those groups , get married, have kid(s) and the parents stay together. Everybody on here keep talking about group economics , but don't want to touch the single parent home issue.

Unless you're going to not participate in the holiday season shopping AT ALL, this is pointless. And even if you do boycott a company like Wal-Mart for Christmas presents, you still go to them to get groceries, toiletries etc. Boycotts don't and won't have a great effect until you ONLY buy necessary items to live, and ONLY buy them from Black owned stores. If you're not going to do that, this shyt is as pointless as can be.

It's all pointless. You still go to work for the white man. Even if you shop at black owned business they getting most of the product from the man. Now if they are really that evil, they will refuse to do business with the black man or raise his costs and you'll have what? A black man out of work and you with nothing as well.

Here's a thought: Instead of n#ggas coming up with all types of reasons why it won't work, why doesn't each person just do it. And guess what? You'll have a protest.

Black people always on some "why black people can't do sh#t." If everybody just did it instead of talking why others won't, then you'd have a protest, movement or revolution.

N#ggas I tell ya :snoop:

I won't be buying anything on Black Friday. I hope other black people join in. Problem solved.

Peace

Right boycott black friday and miss out on great prices and then go to the store a month later and pay double. Makes perfect sense.

Again, who do you think you are really hurting by doing this? upper management or the low level black employee who works in the actually store? If you worked in Retail, would you support this? knowing the owners can still go on vacation, buy new homes and you are still just trying to get by on $10/hr? and now your hours are cut even more..

Black people who rack up hours around this time, use this money to buy there kid(s) toys for christmas. How about some of you nikkas really show the white man and go into work tomorrow and quit your job.

I know you're being facetious but I'll bite:

No Apple products. No Windows products. No designer clothing (at least by whites). No Nikes (no Jordans either). No adidas. No Pumas. No Skechers. No Converses. No Jewelry. No Samsung products. No high-end liquor. No major-label CDs. No dinners at high-end, fancy restaurants. No McDonalds. No Burger King. No Wendy's.

Basically, no anything that's not made by us.

:whoa:

Circular reasoning that can be applied to damn near anything since usually whites are on top and blacks are on the bottom. Whites will usually benefit while the poorer blacks will be hurt. Where doesn't this apply?

But I doubt one day of black people not supporting Target will end in black cashiers being fired in copious numbers.

And if you're so worried about the masses of black retail workers who will be fired and demoted due to ONE DAY of protest, then why don't you some of Coli money to start a fund, so they can buy gifts?

Oh, but you won't. Because you'd rather talk sh#t on a thread about what you're not going to do than even take part in ONE DAY of protest to actually impact bottom lines.

Yea, so be the smart a##, sh#t-talkin contrarian on taking any action......that's profound and new amongst black masses in organized action:troll:

Peace
