I used to have about 15k in credit card debt couple years back. glad I got that paid off. that high interest and too many cards can kill you. now I just gotta pay off my car and keep the two cards I have under control. been paying myself every paycheck something just to boost my savings. also been taking food to work to try and save on eating out at all. other than my car, no major debts as of yet.

Being debt free the best feeling ever. I can understand a mortgage ( better be at least 15 yr fixed/low interest rate, still pay off asap), but other than that cash is king.

I'm not clicking that LSA link, but paying off debt is the goal for the year.
After this, I'm done owing anyone anything. It's just an irritating burden.

Next and last loan I'll ever take out will be for a home.

2 years on, are you debt free now?

Try to get debt free. You def on track. Once free you can really start setting yourself up. Investments, term life insurance/will, emergency funds, etc.

Credit cards are the devil for real.
