Ben Carson(I know he's but still) has a Black wife. A lot of wealthy Black men in NYC, DMV, Atlanta, Houston, North Carolina, etc. have Black wives.

Yes...there are Black men that date and marry out with White and Hispanic women for sure and this is especially visible with brothers in Hollywood who get a lot of press but it's exaggerated for the most part.

I live in NYC.....one of the most diverse and liberal cities in the world and where there's a strong Black middle class in certain nabes yet I honestly RARELY see Black men with White women unless I hang out in some really gentrified areas in Manhattan/Brooklyn. There are many Black men with Latinas but most of the brothers I see with Puerto Rican, Dominican, or other Hispanic women tend to be working class or Blue collar.

Maybe in the West Coast where there's a lack of Black communities outside certain hoods this is an ongoing thing but in the East Coast and the South, it really isn't. When I visit my fam in South Carolina, the vast majority of middle class Black men I've run into deal with sisters even though you will see an epidemic of chunky White women with biracial kids who don't look prestigious or rich in the slightest.

Even when I lived in Texas, IR dating wasn't really the norm for Black people. In San Antonio, you'll see a lot of Black men in IR relationships with Mexican and White women but a lot of them were military types. There was still a lot of non-military Black men with Black women though. San Antonio probably has the highest IR rate for Black men in Texas yet I still can say that we were/are more likely to date sisters than Mexican/White broads.

In Houston, I didn't really see many Black people in IR relationships in Houston despite the chill race relations there. I would sometimes see dudes with Mexican/White girls but only ocassionally. But, overall in Houston, I mainly saw young Black men dealing with Black women. I'm talking dudes my age(30 going on 31) or younger too. Black men in Houston got all the opportunity to date out but they still only do it sparingly from what I've seen.
