Hold on Pippen I understand but are you saying Magic couldn't take over games offensively. Magic one of the greatest offensive players of all time. I admit Magics not on Brons level as a half court scorer, and old timers can get carried away with their criticism. But Magics taken over games plenty of times.

It's not that he's "pass first" but he is a willing passer who knows how and knows the importance of getting teammates involved.
nikkas just love to make comparisons. It's really about their limited minds more than anything. When they see something new, that they can't fit into one of their predetermined boxes, their brain doesn't know how to react.
People wanna compare every great basketball player to Jordan but LeBron and Jordan's games are very different so there really is no "comparison". You can prefer one over the other but that's it.
Truth is we've never seen anything like LeBron. First off, he's the same size as Karl Malone. Malone was an all time great and no one would question that. But LeBron is infinitely more skilled than his physical counterpart. That should tell you how great this dude is! That we're comparing essentially a PF to the greatest wing of all time should tell you how great this dude is!

Yo honestly the best comparison I ever heard for LeBron, I forget who said it, but they called him a mix between Shaq and Steve Nash.
The most physically imposing player on the court who can score at will but with true PG skills. That's why when his J is falling he's completely and utterly unstoppable. It's good he doesn't consistently shoot lights out because that just wouldn't be fair. As is, others can at least be discussed in the GOAT conversation.
Like they say, good thing Marino never won any rings because there would be no more GOAT QB debates.

I always felt like Larry Bird was a more apt comparison purely in terms of how he combines the scoring and playmaking.
Pretty sure we can make a top 20 LeBron clutch playoff moments at this point. Cant do that with Kobe. Pass first.
