Let’s get this straight, most black people down south are NOT conservatives.

I see people running with this narrative all over social media because of the Biden surge. Most elderly Aframs down south aren’t voting for Biden because of his right wing ideas, they are voting for him because he was VP for Obama and think that he is going to bring back policies that were apart of the Obama administration that’s it. It has nothing to do with the black church or whatever and, I also find it hilarious that some you think most of the youngins down here are held hostage by our elders to vote for Biden.
The fact is that Bernie just fukked up in not doing a better job in getting the elderly black folks vote while at the same time exposing Biden’s past in debates which could have easily went his way. Young Aframs just have to sit down and talk with our boomer elders (and our boomer elders are not like white folks entitled elders)about policies and laws that are in our favor and which ever candidate backs them but, those same candidates will also have to do a better job by committing to them.

Sure conservative to the point of not being a fan of gays or a man should provide while a woman stays home.
But not conservative to the point of backing laws that would be a huge detriment to our community that’s a big difference.

I would say most black folks are right-leaning moderates instead of saying they're outright conservatives.

I guess it depends on how you define it. We're not monolithic, but if I had to generalize we're socially conservative and favor democratic economy policies (affirmative active, fukk Regan trickle down policies, etc.)

The reason old people go so hard on the voting tip is because they remember what it was like to be in their teens/ early to mid 20s and the person they were.

After they stop cringing at the thought of their past selves they then realize that they can't leave the direction of the country in the hands of green, naive, idiots with little to no real world experience.

You call it being conservative, most people just call it growing up and realizing that everything that sounds good to you isn't good for you.
