It's been way overdone for the past ten years in WWE. Very corny.

There can still be decent matches that have them, but most of the time the matches would be three times as better without them. It's rare you're actually surprised by the kick out of a finisher these days, and that's pretty much the opposite effect of the POINT of them anyways.

It is played out but it does still kind of excite you depending on the match. They need to give these guys more moves that matter or at least open up their move set.

Another great example is the Brock/Sheamus match from that House Show yesterday.

http://www.thecoli.com/threads/brock-lesnar-vs-sheamus-1-8-16-full-match-hd.389531/

Sheamus hits Brock with two White Noises in a row, Brock kicks out.

Later he hits him with three Brogue Kicks, again in a row, and Brock kicks out.

I get that Brock is supposed to be this unstoppable beast, but that's just pure nonsense.
Brock it makes sense with to a degree .

Wwe ? The wrestling business especially the indies been doing the spamming finishers matches way before wwe. It wasn't really until the punk Ascension to the main event that wwe main events started going overboard with it but that was only still main eventers usually doing it to each other . the John cena us open challenge though started having everyone he fought kick out of AA except zack Ryder

Agree 100 per cent - and also I would add that they also need to let some of their other moves finish matches, and/or have a super-finisher that they save for special occasions.

On the former, how many people use the Superkick and it never ends matches? Dolph Ziggler has a spike DDT that should finish nearly everyone he uses it on. Sheamus has like 5 other moves including White Noise that can kill matches, same with KO and the reverse fisherman, Go Home Driver etc.....

On the latter, I think it's only Seth Rollins that has a special finisher that he only uses rarely (The Phoenix Splash) and he's never booked to land it, he only landed it on Cena. It's a shame that KO can't use the Package Piledriver, that would be a good contingency finisher if pop up powerbomb doesn't do the job.
