The Mysterio thing was Vince giving Rey Mysterio the WWE Championship so that they could say hes a former WWE champ. He only won the World Title before that.

Think things through.

Ken Anderson is a glass-jawed never was. They were pushing him to the moon, but he couldn't A. stay healthy and B. adhere to the wellness policy. No wonder why Vince likes reliable and hardy guys like John Cena.

Wade Barrett and the nexus was a really bad one imo. Dude got fired but was never off to even for a week and single handed lay beat every member of nexus and literally buried Barrett under a pile of chairs.

Chris Jericho: "It was Team WWE vs. Team Nexus, and the finish boiled down to [Edge] and [Jericho] in there, but it was Cena against a couple of them. John wanted to do things a certain way and we told him 'you're wrong'. He did it anyways, and it sucked. And then after he came over to us and said 'I should have listened to you, but I wasn't seeing it that way.'"

Edge: "I remember. I was like, fine I'm out of the match by that point."

Chris Jericho: "He wanted to get DDT'd on the floor by Barrett, then kick out and beat them both. And you and I were like, that's the dumbest thing. That's just throwing it away for no reason."

Edge: "They should have gone over because they were so hot."

Chris Jericho: "We were fighting for Barrett to go over. And where's Wade Barrett now?"

Who can forget this? Cena was ddt'd on concrete then beats both guys within about 10 seconds of that happening. shyt was horrendous.

though as far as holding down talent, there have been far worse than cena, hogan holding down the GOAT and HHH burying Booker is far worse than anything cena has done.

where is that proven?
Its common sense. That was Reys last title run, and Vince loves Rey Mysterio.

He threw him a peace offering that night, because at the point Rey began hating his WWE life and wanted out.

I feel like Cenas version of "burial" is more like an outshine than anything else...:manny:

He may not bury you, but in the end (usually) he makes sure his light shines the brightest

Wade Barrett definitely should've won the title, regardless of how the rest of the Nexus was him being the champion would've made Nexus look like something considering they had the tag titles at some point.

He loses to Barrett [gets fired] but is on tv every week afterwards beating up every member of Nexus until they ask to have him rehired.....then when he beat Barrett he literally buried him under a pile of chairs.

Zack Ryder, he got over on his own. Why was Cena necessary to be added to his storyline? [This is also a pattern of booking behavior] He gets attached to Ryder and Ryder momentum is halted, was Ryder a main event talent..no...but why is Cena being thrown in mid card storylines?

I like Cena but the way folks are booked after he beats them speaks volumes, is it necessarily his fault. NO, is he at fault by proxy, absolutely.

Sidebar: Whenever he does take a clean loss [at least recently], he's gone off tv afterwards to get surgery. So the built in excuse is he only lost because he was injured going into the match, its never because the other guy was simply better that night.

Cena got WWE to not sell JTG'S Shades because he used the words loyalty and respect in an Interview

I haven't heard any kind of story on this but I've noticed Chad Gable doesn't carry around the ready willing and gable towel anymore....I'm sure cena doesn't want anyone with merch similar to his out there

All the stories about Cena being a politicking locker room bully and people still doubt that he's a huge a$$hole who deliberately keeps talent down? We only recently had that leak from house show rules where it specifically mentions things that only Cena is allowed to do. People can talk all that "oh, they're only stories, they're just a bunch of salty guys who left" and blablabla, but why is it always Cena? Why don't you ever hear shyt about other "veterans" burying the talent (backstage)? Where are the Big Show burials, or the Sheamus burials, or the Ziggler burials? Where are the Mark Henry burials or the Chris Jericho burials or the Kane burials? The closest thing we got was when Orton buried Kofi as a main eventer, and that's about the only Orton story we got. When you stack up the stories it is abundantly clear that Cena is the one in dire need of an attitude adjustment.

I like Cena as much as the next guy but...

No smoke without fire :yeshrug:

He's just a political slick b*stard and that's that. Thats who he is and how he wants to be.

Wade Barrett should of been champion and on top a long time ago..they gave Sheamus two or 3 title Reigns but Barrett none? fukking repulsive.

Because you're only going to hear these stories about the top stars not midcarders and WWE Attitude era vets collecting checks in the midcard.
