What they have done to Xavier Woods is just sad. Dude has only been on the roster for a few months and he's already being used as fodder to put over debuting talent. You can say what you want to about him not being main event material but neither is Adam Rose and they made that dude's debut a big deal. Fandango also got monthly promos, debuted, got put in an angle and got a Wrestlemania match with Jericho. Xavier? no promos or nothing just spontaneously shows up as R-Truth's partner and then quickly jobber status. They didn't even give him a chance to shine on his own, and I bet people still don't know what's he's all about or even his gimmick.

Don't wanna make it seem like Vince is racist but it sure seems that way. Like the way he's pushing Rusev right now couldn't that be Big E in the same position. Some of these cats just wouldn't cut it but others just weren't given the chance to run win with the ball. The only reason you cant say it's straight up racist is cause there's been just as many white cats who have gotten the shaft too. But it's still a shame that they haven't had a black WWE champion other than the Rock. Mark Henry should have beaten Cena last year and got a run with the real title.

It's telling when Michael P.S. Hayes has been a part of staff for years despite being blatantly racist and spewing racist remarks. Racism and racial bias has always been there behind the scenes in this business, even a lot of White fans will tell you that.

This is a very good point. I like Randy Orton and enjoy his work, but he's probably had more failed runs, pushes and "2nd chances" than any 3 wrestlers you can name combined. This favoritism/nepotism/racism/etc. is so blatant in his case its ridiculous. How many WrestleMania main events has he been part of while really being an afterthought? And we can't even get a SINGLE battle royale win for Kofi?!? :stopitslime:

And he still is a non factor. I will never understand it.

I think there are soo many reasons why we dont see many main event bruhs

1. Honestly, there arent that many I ever cared about- There are barely that many white ones I connect with and with less blacks on the roster that lessens the chance of me really getting behind one of ours
2. How many have really had that charisma to cross over? Remember, even if all of us got behind Big E or Titus Oneal- the vast majority of the viewers are white so they also have to dig them
3 We are never casted in a way that we can be taken seriously- Kofi is a happy go luck, boom boom dropping high flyer ( outside of Rey Mosquito- how many high flyers are really pushed to the top? R truth is a c00n, Big E is just a fast moving powerlifter ( the audience is tired of that..and before you say "what about Batista" he was aligned with Flair and hunter..if he wasnt, noone would have gave a fukk about him either..I can keep going)
4 Politics- I have to think the right people behind the scenes have to love you...maybe we not playing the game- pun intended.

Can't really think of any white wrestlers in wwe with remote star qualities that didn't have a title run the last 15 yrs

What's with the tiptoeing around the word racism? Wrestling has always been openly racist.

Moving on to booker t, isn't a part of his success tainted by what was going on behind the scenes in wcw at the time, or was that false? I don't remember the exact details but I do remember there being a thread on it.

You can't have this argument and then bring up that clown fukking Xavier Woods as one of your key selling points to support your opinion :snoop:

Honestly if Bobby Lashley never got injured and then left, I think there's no doubt that he would've won the WWE title a few times. I also think Kofi could've been on his way to stardom in 2009 when he was feuding with Orton, but then he had that match on Raw where he botched the finish, Orton got pissed off and ever since then he's just been stuck in the mid card. Mark Henry definitely should've gotten a real WWE title reign. And I enjoyed the hell out of R-Truth's heel run in 2011 but then they turned that in a joke

But other than those three (Kofi/Henry/R-Truth), there aren't really any black wrestlers over the last 5-6 years that really stick out that I would consider were held back because of their race.

If there's any bias or favoritism that really sticks out in the WWE it's definitely towards the second-third generation wrestlers. No matter how awful they are or how many times they flop and have to be repackaged, Vince will continue to push their ass out there to try make them happen.

What about guys like Ryback Paul Burchill Drew Mcintyre and others.

No,no, no. I thought of Kennedy Barrett and Cesaro. Kennedy obviously was headed there and Barrett/Cesaro are obviously getting there soon

Why not tho? He's only a clown because the WWE doesn't give a fukk about building POC superstars. Xavier is a great example. Adam Rose wasn't over as Leo Kruger and he was given a second chance with this new gimmick and WWE has put him out there and given him a chance to get over.

What are the chances that the backstage people would give Xavier the luxury of a new gimmick? Or even try. They wont. Not only is he 7 years younger than Rose but we haven't seen his full potential because they won't try.
