I see a lot of people calling others "c00n" on this board. The definition of "c00n" seems to have changed with the generations.
So, let's look back for a moment.
"c00n" comes from the word "c00ning" which is acting in a stereotypical manner for the ingratiation of white people.
"c00ning" has roots in the slur southern whites used to call black people -- "c00n". Until recently, black people didn't much use the noun "c00n" -- but did use the verb "c00ning".
A good example of "c00ning" is diamond and silk -- the neck-popping, "mmhmm"ing, trump-supporting bytches who have made a straight hustle of "c00ning".
Nowadays, black people seem to have replaced the term "uncle tom" with the term "c00n". But historically, they weren't used interchangeably.
An "uncle tom" was someone who reflexively took the side of white people against the interests of black people. Ironically, they didn't always engage in "c00ning".
A good example of an uncle tom is, appropriately enough, Clarence Thomas. He doesn't carry himself in a stereotypical manner, but he has earned a reputation for automatically siding against the interests of black people. He even continued to lick Scalia's ass after Scalia basically called black people inferior.
Other good examples of "uncle toms" are Sheriff David Clarke and nurse Eunice Rivers Laurie (of the Tuskegee syphilis experiment infamy).
People who "c00n" are far more rare (and arguably less dangerous) than the "uncle toms".
Indeed, most of the people we're calling "c00ns" these days are actually uncle toms.
White people who know the term "c00n" from the olden days must be quite confused when they see a black gangbanger get killed, and then black people (including me) dapping the post that calls him "just another dead c00n".
Just wanted to put this out there...
Thank you for your time.
