They overpaid for Lin....Asik is a 7 foot double double.......which is a max contract off the top...

Yeah its a dumb ass loophole where Houston would only have to pay the average of the contract spread out anually but the team to matches has to pay the contract as offered.

Keyshaun Johnson was hanging out in the studio this morning on espn 710am here in LA. He broke it down and he's a football guy. He said the negotiations shouldn't have even come down to something like this: Howard should've been locked up with the Lakers at the start of the season. You bring in a 40 year old pg?? Then you hire D'antoni which means you're basically looking out for Nash and Kobe. If Howard is really your future you go to Howard and say, "who do you want to be the coach of the Lakers?"- if he's really your FUTURE.
