I honestly was expecting much....

But at some point we gotta address the fact that 90% of rappers "comebacks" after doing a bid are a let down and pretty anti-climatic

It became a thing after Pac got out and dropped All Eyes on Me

But if you look at the history.... Most of those shyts are letdowns... Wayne, Boosie, Gucci are a few recent examples that come to mind

Yeah the only ones to really capitalize on prison comebacks have been 2Pac, Mac Dre & Gucci after the first few bids. Everybody else had a spark and then was forgotten. The problem most of the new rappers have had is they didn't put out music as soon as they were released and by the time we heard them it was sub-par. You're only in the news cycle for so long so you have to strike while it's hot. Remy made the same mistake after Shether not releasing a single right after while she had the buzz. Now if she drops one it'll be crickets.

This is one of the dopest radio freestyles I've ever heard the way she rode the beat and spit flames. Shame Remy can't make songs.

exactly, shes prolly bigger now than when she first went in in terms of her celeb status

musically she was prolly more organically popping back then since she experienced some success without the platform of love & hip hop/social media/beefing with a megastar
