The Bronx

The Swatch bred
Thoroughbred, shockingly took two to the head
Knowledge me God, the shyt I'm bout to holler is hard
From start, this little nikka had a hell of a heart
His pops, bangin that shyt in his arms, broken
A young mind distorted emotions, is there an upside?
His brother got murdered up North by neta
Ma-ma, battlin', cancer, of the colon
At the tender age of thirteen, watchin his world close in
Blood damn near frozen, from a heart so cold
It ain't pumpin out the love no mo', and I feel that
Cuz God when you really need it, where the love at?
That's why a lot of nikkaz got more faith in they gat
Freeze that like a photo, take it with you and know
This lil' nikka bout to kill all comers for cash flow
His role model, the heat, cause it runs streets
His motto: 'Nobody eats but me!'
Finally this young thug turned pro
Used to show love now he got nuttin but hatred and foes
Five-double-oh's, hoes so deep
He the type of nikka that got it and break down a key
Remember me? J to the A, R-U-L, E baby
Smell the beef, it continue to uhh, give em hell
Fill they bodies with shells and leave nikkaz
with a story to tell

God, why the hell am I here?
Is it a blessin', or a painful lesson
Of life and its directions?
Date of conception two twenty nine
I was birthed and won't be denied
Lookin into these eyes
And witness lives' tragedies
The boy who made slaves out of men, that's me
For every lock there's a key
The only thing that ever made me click was "Cash Money"
So that I lust for
Be it one of my deadly sins
You know the seven
I got all of them deep within
Sometimes I slip, but you be there
Pick me up, now I'm on my knees like what's up
'Cause only in a world that's corruptin' the sick
Could you dare to look at my life and call it innocence
Got me to a better sense
Cause whats yours is mine
Hear me lord, I'm runnin' out of time :wow:

Tell me which songs 50 have lyrical better and conveys emotion as good as those songs beside many men , yeah 50 was good at painting a picture of goon shyt that occurred in his life but after that what did he have to offer ? Ja went ode excessive with the singing/rap shyt later in his career but 50 attempted to copy the same forumla later in his career too and it didn't age as well as Ja's jawns . That whole conflict they had decieved niccas thought of Ja like he wasn't capable of spitting when it was the complete opposite .. I know niccas boutta come through this thread in denial , but when ya see ya statements hold no validity and its just a figment of ya imagination ya gon realize ...

Say what you want but I like his debut album, the joint with Erick Sermon is my shyt. :yeshrug:

Thug style, Hennesey, blazing trees
Getting G's, indeed, cause we will DO OR DIIIIIE

But I still think 50 is a better artist.

No problem , cats entitled to their own preference but nikkas be tryna depict Ja like he was this mediocre rapper because of the beef when thats was never the case
We just thought he was a joke overall.
A handful of decent songs scattered on his subpar albums werent enough to outweigh the god awful singing on the radio

Ja was a competent rapper, he just got comfortable with his formula right when people were getting sick of it.

They both aren't great rappers, at least in my opinion but I do think that 50 is better.
