Yeah, pretty much. 50 peak, musically and lyrical, was POAD, imo, and I wouldn't put that above my favorite Ja albums. Also, 50 fizzled out pretty fast. His second LP was mediocre and he just got worse after that.

Why are we talking about this bullshyt??

You want lyrics Power of the Dolla had slick shyt Ja Rule couldn't match

You want flow 50 killed it on GRODT

Every time someone responds with a valid argument you're just gonna side step it cuz you've got it in your head that Ja Rule is better than 50 but its not true. Ja was a one dimensional dude that had 1 style. 50 was just a better rapper you're delusional

How is Ja a one dimensional when Fif only really sticked to one forumla ? You're just as delusional if you think fif was this versatile artist ... I'll agree that POTD almost better than any album that Ja put out , but after Massacre what quality album has son released ? ,

:comeon: I posted wild songs that debunked that myth , son can spit thats not even debatable .... I'll agree with the flow part though

Breh...to me being a mediocre lyricist means your middle of the pack, your not wack, your passing, but you're not mind blowing. Definition of Ja Rules career. I mean if he ain't a mediocre lyricist what is he? An excellent one?

Ja was a competent rapper, he just got comfortable with his formula right when people were getting sick of it.

were ppl really gettin sick of it or did 50 just come in the game with so much momentum and steal his thunder.

i am of the belief that if 50 never gets signed by a major then ja's career would have been extended at least another few years. that pain is love run was unstoppable. hit after hit after hit. him and ashanti could have tore it up for years imo.

I always thought Ja was better. Better lyrically, more personality, iller voice by far, and had his hip-pop hits as well.

Always thought 50 was a C- rapper with a mumbled voice, who just happened to have banging beats and Em/Dre backin him.

The thing with 50 is he made fun of Ja Rule singing in rap, and shortly after he destroyed Ja's career he did the
EXACT SAME THING :heh:
