were ppl really gettin sick of it or did 50 just come in the game with so much momentum and steal his thunder.

i am of the belief that if 50 never gets signed by a major then ja's career would have been extended at least another few years. that pain is love run was unstoppable. hit after hit after hit. him and ashanti could have tore it up for years imo.

50 said himself that he may have sped up the process but those domino's were already in a line. As someone who will give Ja his props I was def tired of his shyt long before 50 showed up. He ain't lose the public exclusively because of Fif, he lost it because his sound was played and formulaic with the super famous samples and the sing songy syrupy shyt. It was to the point where when he decided to "clap back" at 50 he kinda had to do a 180 with the tone of his music.

I always thought Ja was better. Better lyrically, more personality, iller voice by far, and had his hip-pop hits as well.

Always thought 50 was a C- rapper with a mumbled voice, who just happened to have banging beats and Em/Dre backin him.

The thing with 50 is he made fun of Ja Rule singing in rap, and shortly after he destroyed Ja's career he did the
EXACT SAME THING :heh:

nikkas that say this expose themselves as not really listening to 50 like that.

Vs.

:stopitslime:

There's a big difference between what was doing (since POD I mind you) and Ja Rule looking/sounding like Marry Poppins.

:mjlol: Life on the line gotta be the most overrated diss song "You get carried away, you can get shot and carried away ,Now here's a list of MC's that can kill you in eight bars 50, umm Jay-Z and Nas" Yeah that sure showed him :mjlol: ya niccas throwing shyt on the wall hoping it will stick .. the only worthy song you posted on there was Ghetto Quran & as the world turns and like I stated in the OP that's basiclly his niche rambling about his street ventures but after that what left does fif have to offer ?

Ja had his moments, but 50's a better rapper. I've been saying for YEARS that this whole "50 can't rap" sh!t is one of the dumbest things that's spread around on this site.

around the same time period .... lets keep it a stack .. I do think fif has a better flow though but if 50 and Ja had a one on one lyrical battle Ja would eat 50s food based on these two clips

50 didn't even beat Ja , it took Em to come through and finish him off .. niccas really hate to acknowledge that

WTF are you talking about? I posted those songs to show that stylistically 50 was always "singing" not to make track for track comparisons. I didn't even take your origonal post serious to be honest with you, wrote that off as some bullshyt to even know what songs you're in here trying to rewrite history with.

What I was doing was showing son that there was a clear difference between what 50 was doing from the JUMP and what Ja got off into toward his peak and decline. Anybody saying otherwise is engaging in revisionist history, which you seem to be well versed in.

We not even talking about that though , we talking about who's better lyrically and more versatile .... and no one has posted a song yet that proved me wrong .. post a song by 50 that would evoke emotion as much as Daddys little girl or Race Against time ?

 @ race against time....shyt is wack. Daddy's little girl isn't a good song either, you giving him points off of merit it seems like, which is aight in a conversation about the artist in his own space...but just because those subjects are more "emotional" doesn't mean the successfully evoked it from the listener. I wasn't moved by that shyt, then or now.

Many men on the other hand evoked emotion from people, regardless of how much it fit right in with his other "street ventures". Being emotive don't necessarily mean you gotta be sentimental or solemn.

50 revealed more about himself in a mixtape verse than Ja did his whole career and without looking like a sucka in the process.

If I was trying to change I probably couldn't change, I'm fukked up man :mjcry:

Look at you, you little dirty ass nikka you ain't shyt
Glad you here though, you just in time to get the grits
That's how I used to talk to a nikka growin up
That's why I give him my ass to kiss blowin up
Took my biggest lost at eight, you know when mommy died
I ain't know what was goin on, I ain't even fukkin cry
:wow:
