Cole also had way more music out prior, and been in the game longer. Rocky sold almost 450 k off his first album, with only a mixtape prior. Coles sold like 600 with 5 mixtapes out and an album.

I fukk with ASAP, but give him another album before you start talking all that. Althought I thought the album was dope, he didn't do what he should have on his first, but I think he can do it on his second.

According to who? Long.Live A$AP is the most critically acclaimed and one of the highest selling mainstream releases of the year, and is clearly a top 3 album.

He makes good music and I think his album is one if the better albums of the year, but the guy is a hack who has cut and spliced from various people/groups to make a sound which still ain't his own. He's purrps son.

I don't see how being influenced by someone and putting all those influences in your music to create your own unique sound is bad tho? Rocky already had his style before meeting Purrp. He released his first mixtape with Purple Swag on it Deep Purple before he even met Purrp, he already had his subject matter and style if you saw his early UStream freestyles.

Cole's first album did 217k first week and tapped out at 700k.
Born Sinner is at 618k right now and still selling about 4k a week.

Rocky will NEVER be as big as J. Cole. NEVER.

Purrp wasn't even Rocky's main producer, he used A$AP Ty Beats for Purple Swag and Peso his two biggest hits as he was coming up and mostly beats from Clams Casino's Instrumentals EP. Purrp and Rocky have a similar sound because they have similar influences, Purrps shyt is easily darker he has beats that could be described as trap.
